Running naked in the rain
Farmers across the state rejoiced as s ome of the hardest-hit NSW drought regions received a little respite after the first significant rainfall in months. One Dubbo farmer was filmed rejoicing as he sprinted through the downpour wearing nothing but a hat. Much of the Northern Tablelands and Central West received rainfall on Saturday, with a low pressure system forecast to deliver a wet start to the week. Inverell received 16mm between 9am and 9pm on Saturday, while Dubbo recorded almost 10mm. There is more rain on the way today with parts of northern New South Wales recording falls of up to 17mm.
